WHY THE WORLD NEEDS THIS NEW PEACE MOVEMENT NOW
Today's wars are not an abstract headline. It means families displaced, children deprived of education, young people facing uncertain futures, and public resources diverted from urgent human needs.
Recent United Nations reporting paints a sobering picture. In Ukraine, at least 328 civilians were killed and 2,105 injured during September 2026, according to the UN Human Rights Monitoring Mission. In Gaza, humanitarian agencies continue to report civilian casualties, displacement and severe shortages. These realities demand more than statements of concern. They require sustained humanitarian assistance, responsible leadership, dialogue and practical peacebuilding.
Young people must be part of the solution. The United Nations’ Youth, Peace and Security agenda recognizes their essential role while highlighting persistent barriers to meaningful participation in decisions affecting their futures.
The question is no longer whether peace is necessary. It is how many people will take responsibility for building it—daily.
GPBNet: FROM DAILY ACTIONS TO MODEL PEACE COMMUNITIES
GPBNet empowers a simple principle: peace become a daily practice, not merely an annual celebration or an inspiring slogan.
Through its Global Peace Marathon, the network invites people to organize local teams, support vulnerable families, empower young leaders, conduct community-service projects, hold peaceful public events, promote interfaith understanding and share constructive stories - best practices through all media.
The movement’s spiritual vision is expressed through True Love Revolution—living for the sake of others—and the aspiration to finalize establishing era of ultimate global peace. All missions with their faith connect with Holy Mother Han.
GPBNet’s empowers mobilization for 2026 of 2.1 billion people and $2.1 billion in peacebuilding resources.
Imagine what communities will accomplish if more people contributed time, skills, responsible funding and practical solutions rather than suffer violence as inevitable.

HOW TO BUILD YOUR LOCAL GPBNet TEAM THIS WEEK
You do not need to wait for a perfect moment to begin. Start now with your concrete community need and a small, committed team.
Day 1: Identify one urgent local challenge—youth exclusion, family hardship, community tension or lack of peace education.
Day 2: Invite eight interested people from different backgrounds to discuss practical solutions.
Day 3: Choose a pathway and define clear roles, responsibilities and a realistic first project.
Day 4: Contact schools, businesses, community groups, faith organizations and potential institutional partners.
Day 5: Launch a measurable service activity, such as mentoring young people, supporting families or organizing a community dialogue.
Day 6: Publish a factual progress report, documenting participation, activities, outcomes and funds received or spent.
Day 7: Review results, welcome new volunteers and determine whether to proceed with formal organizational registration.
This is how an idea can become a team, a team can become a project, and successful projects can inspire stronger community networks. Growth should be measured through verified participation and tangible results—not promises alone.
TODAY’S GLOBAL MASTERMIND: CELEBRATING PEACE EDUCATORS
The October mastermind also celebrates participants recognized through GPBNet’s Master of Education in Peace training.
During the gathering, ambassadors and educators shared experiences involving peace caravans, inter-community dialogue, women's groups, religious cooperation, educational materials and efforts to resolve local tensions. Participants spoke about their commitment to carrying peace education into schools, communities and wider international networks.
Their message was clear: education becomes meaningful when knowledge is translated into service to be implemented on all levels up to governmental.
Congratulations to every participant continuing this work. The next step is to translate learning into documented community impact.
