On 18 July 2025, the international GPBNet team, the Africa GPBNet team, and the Kenya GPBNet teams gathered in Embu, Kenya. Governors, political leaders, religious leaders, Gen Z leaders, youth leaders, educators, media, businesses, charities, families, and ordinary citizens spoke, discussed, and prayed together under the GPBNet banner. This GPBNet event was a historic turning point that helped channel energy away from the “Z revolution” (youth-led unrest that began in Kenya in 2024 and spread regionally) toward constructive, daily peacebuilding. The stated goal was never a one-day event but the creation of Model Peace Communities through the “True Love Revolution” — practical instruments that unite all local stakeholders with the population to build mutual prosperity and daily peace actions.

21 September 2026 — International Day of Peace
On 21 September 2026, the International Day of Peace, the Global Peace Building Network (GPBNet) convened an intercontinental global summit under the banner Ultimate Global #Peace2026, bringing together peace ambassadors, religious leaders, community organizers, youth representatives, leaders, governors and citizens from different nations. This summit is part of GPBNet's continuing global prayer-and-action movement and as a practical extension, emphasizing that peace is not simply the absence of war but daily peacebuilding actions for everyone of 8 billions global citizens from simple people to presidents a lived condition involving safety, dignity, opportunity, cooperation, dialogue, and human development.
Thus for GPBNet, 21 September was not intended to be treated as a single commemorative day. The network's central message throughout the summit was that peace become a daily discipline: practiced in families, schools, communities, businesses, governments, religious institutions, and civil society globally.
